And that's a wrap! Thank you folks - we did it!!

(And hitting my "personal pipe dream" mark of 5000 backers - I'm speechless)
Thank you all (honestly, each and every one of you) for taking my humble idea and giving it all the backing it needed to grow into something even better - the creative and supportive community that sprung up here was such a pleasant surprise! Things get really official now, so I'm sure you'll all be glad for a serious rundown.
Funds
We are ridiculously over my initial expectations for this project. To be fair, the initial funding goal assumed I'd be working for free. I think that's how I knew I personally believed in this project and moved forward with it in the first place.
According to other fantastic creators I've been in touch with, Kickstarter usually takes about two weeks to transfer the funds over to me, and then we can start paying the editorial and artistic team the bags of money they need to really elevate this book. This will also be when we start sending out surveys.
BackerKit
Next is where BackerKit comes in. I wanted to make sure that we partnered with a trusted partner for the Kickstarter TTRPG community. I recommend creating an account with them, but this is not necessary. The surveys we send will be essential so that everyone receives their rewards (which is what I want - you all deserve the best). Some of you have had your surveys sent early in order to get a head start on getting your information organized and ready to go.
Your personal survey will allow you the ability to provide us with your shipping address and alter it later should you have ordered a physical copy of the book to be shipped directly to you from me, to purchase add-on items, and so forth. Please let us know if you have any issues with this.
Add-ons
Wait, what? Yes - this is a late addition but another benefit of partnering with BackerKit means we were able to look into the possibility of adding physical versions of the digital artbook and card rewards unlocked through our stretch goals! As well as the option to purchase extra copies of the book, of course!
Fulfilment
- Depending on your tier, you will need to look out for different things. Those who are strictly digital, you will essentially be getting a survey inquiring for add-ons and a code to download the PDF when the book is ready. Easy-peasy! The digital artbook and digital cards will also be sent to everyone this way.
- Those who backed for hardback print codes, your survey will have the option for add-ons and you will receive a print code to pay at-cost for the book on DriveThruRPG. I've outlined this process in an earlier update in case that is confusing.
- Everyone who has access to Early Release Content should keep their eyes peeled! Tattoo sections will be sent to you periodically. If you decide to playtest the material, offering useful feedback, that would add to our number of playtesters!
- Lastly, those who are getting the book shipped to them directly from me in the Super Backer and Creative Backer tiers will need to providing shipping information. The Creative Tier will also be contacted within the next two weeks to get your tattoos brainstormed!
Social Stretch Goals
It was close and I'm a person who loves options. I have thoroughly enjoyed immense kindness and support from all of you during my first Kickstarter. As all goals are either met or within reach of the 1000-mark, all covers and divine tattoos are officially unlocked! You all deserve it, thank you for essentially joining the team!
You will have the option to choose alternate covers on DTRPG or through a survey if you're receiving a book directly from me. As a final question: Would digital backers prefer all covers in one PDF or a similar option to select between covers on a listing?
Final Stretch Goals & Goodies
Well, last but not least... I was really impressed by the creativity and excitement everyone showed in terms of what they wanted to see added to the book. So we decided to take on a lot of that. Of course, I understand that everyone wants quality preserved, so the extent to which the ideas are implemented isn't a dramatic workload, but in many cases, the additions are very noticeable and add what I felt were interesting mechanics and new dimensions to the Tome of Mystical Tattoos.
The Tattoo Pricing Guide, Class-Specific Tattoos, and Inky Familiars have battled their way into your pages!
The Inks Expansion System, Tattoo Parlor Maps, and Empty Body Part Templates (backer-exclusive digital) have all also somehow managed to break down the door and will be included in your final product!
