Hi folks! 

Here are some books that came in recently that I've been reading:

Okay, I lied. They're not just any books! They're the print proofs of the tome. Pretty cool, right? 

Your physical copies are now just around the corner!!!! (Four exclamation marks for the four different covers you can choose from)

So, essentially, your at-cost print codes will be sent out as soon as we determine there's not even one tiny mistake left in these pages. Or as close to that as possible... I mean we're already pretty damn close. However, I can't even begin to express how great it feels to hold the actual tome in my hands. It's been such a fun journey to share with all of you! 

There is actually one last step for certain tiers (30, 38, 45) because I need to make sure that the at-cost print code you are sent gives you the exact cover you want. For this purpose, I've unlocked your BackerKit surveys so you can easily get back in there and let me know!

You can get back in to the survey by logging into your BackerKit account, through here, or through an email BackerKit will send out shortly asking you to fill out the one question I added in there. 

For backers who were charged and surveys can't be unlocked (49 of you) I will reach out to you individually!

Thank you for being patient with physical copies and all the kind words about how the digital release has been fantastic (at least from what everyone who reached out has mentioned)! You are about to be very happy campers because as you can see—you are soon to be rewarded.

A release to make your lives easier...

Hi folks!

With some unexpected (but welcome) help from Michael—one of our backers—we were able to create a Magic Tattoo Catalog. This is essentially a spreadsheet wherein you can sort the tattoos by things such as rarity and body part to find the corresponding (print or digital) page number. This has been requested a few times now. Hope this helps you enjoy the book even more! Also, if you find any errors or corrections that need to be made within the file, just shoot me a message.

Also of note: A lot of backers are helping out the forthcoming print release in multiple ways. For example, we do appreciate when you message us indicating small errors that somehow got past us so that the digital copy download can be updated and the first print release will come out as flawless as we want it to be. Thanks again, you awesome people! 

I am kicking myself that I dropped the ball and didn't make a discord for this community midway through the project...

We’ve just sent out the full digital PDF of the Tome of Mystical Tattoos through DriveThruRPG for all backers entitled to a digital copy. You should have now received an email with instructions for claiming the reward.

Hello folks! 

Today we released our final Early Release Content PDF file!

Do you know what this means? 

We are done. 

The book's primary content has all been fleshed out and cleaned up. The artwork is beautiful and peeking out every corner of the book we could possibly place them. 

I am pumped! 

The next few days are all about the icing... further editing, proofreading, and finalizing the book so you get exactly what you pledged for. 

You can expect the fully completed digital PDF of the Tome of Mystical Tattoos before the end of the month as promised and projected. Thank you so much for all your support - whether simply in terms of backing the project, proofreading or playtesting the ERC content (thank you, this was much appreciated), or even all the wonderful, kind comments encouraging the project along on our various social media platforms and Kickstarter. None of this would have been possible without each and every one of you pushing our team forward!

Get pumped! 

P.S. 

Simultaneously with the digital release, we will be engaged with DriveThruRPG exchanging files and proofs to make sure your physical copies are just right! I apologize beforehand if anyone is put off by what I'm about to say next: I will not be rushing this part of the process. I am incredibly happy we are meeting the target dates we set out at the beginning of the project and I see first-hand how great everything looks and feels when we take our time and set realistic goals. 

We are just as excited as you to get our hands on the physical hardback, so I'll be taking my time and getting this right so the physical book you receive is everything we hope it can be!

(Also to ERC readers: I do want to say that those offering compliments and encouragement on the content you receive are just as helpful as those who are playtesting and proofreading the content. Sometimes it's much easier to push on after hearing we are doing pretty well so far!)
